Black Garlic Linguine

Serves: 1


  • One portion of linguine

  • 4 cloves of peeled black garlic – sliced

  • A tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

  • Chop enough chives, parsley and basil to fill 1/2 cup

  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

  • Some fresh basil leaves

  • Salt

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • If you like some heat in your dish add a small amount of fresh red chilli


  1. Cook the linguine.

  2. Once cooked drain thoroughly. Set to one side.

  3. Heat the garlic oil in the same pan. Add the black garlic, herbs and chilli (for heat - optional). Stir.

  4. Quickly toss in the linguine and stir.

  5. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with a few whole fresh basil leaves.
